Community Involvement

San Benito Animal Hospital understands that it is impossible for a successful veterinary practice to be divorced from the communities it serves. As far as we are concerned, the Rio Grande Valley is blessed with wonderful people and communities. We know that if it were not for our friends and neighbors, we would not have been able to achieve all that we have.

For us, giving back to our community is an important piece of who we are. Our doctors and staff routinely participate in our local schools, churches, and civic organizations. We also take great pride in sharing our veterinary expertise with the community.

By way of example, we routinely work with and support the Harlingen Humane Society by offering our services to them. We also sponsor the annual Fun ’N Sun Dog Show and have been voted best veterinary clinic in the Valley Morning Star’s reader survey.

In all, we are proud of our efforts, both in time and monetary support, to help make our community a better place for us all. Without the efforts of the people and organizations of Harlingen and surrounding communities, our beautiful Southern Texas home would not be all that it is today.

We educated kids at Leal Elementary School in March of 2014 for their annual Career Day!
